Visitors to UNC-Charlotte have the following parking options:
Meter Parking
- Metered parking areas shall be effective between the hours of 8:00AM — 9:30PM, Monday through Thursday, and 8:00AM — 3:00PM Friday, except University holidays.
- Vehicles with valid permits have to pay if parked at meters.
- It is the operators responsibility to know the time limit on the meters. The time limit varies for meters from one location to another.
- Do not park at meters reading “OUT OF ORDER.” Notify Parking Services for malfunctioning meters.

Visitor Parking Decks
- There are three visitors decks, Cone Visitor Deck, Union Deck and East Deck-1, conveniently located throughout the campus.
- Vehicles with valid permits have to pay if parked in visitors decks.
